Pre-orders let you keep selling before stock arrives, with payment taken in full, later, or as a deposit, and a countdown and a badge on the product page. Purchase limits cap how much one customer can buy per order or per month, require login, or restrict a product to the customer tags you choose. You can use either side on its own, or combine both in a single rule. Every rule is enforced in the cart and at checkout.
