Handoff attaches files to your products and sends them when an order is paid. The buyer gets a download link by email, on the thank you page, and on the order status page. You set how long links last and how many downloads each file allows. Files sit in private storage. Buyers receive short-lived signed URLs only, so a forwarded link stops working. The Deliveries page lists every order. You can re-send the email, extend a link, or copy it for a support reply. No theme code changes.
