Frequently asked questions
Is there a free plan, or do I need to pay from day one?
SellerDash offers a 30-day free trial so you can test the app before committing. After that, there is a single plan at $9.99 USD/month plus usage-based fees: 20¢ per label for the first 60 after a free 40, stepping down to 15¢, then 10¢, and capping at $100/month total — after which additional labels are free.
Do I need a developer to set this up, or can I do it myself?
No developer is needed. Setup takes just a few minutes — you simply connect your MyPost Business token or enter your eParcel Contract account details, and you're ready to start printing labels straight away. The app works directly within your Shopify Admin with no code required.
Which Australia Post accounts does this app actually support?
The app supports both Australia Post MyPost Business and eParcel (Parcel Contract) accounts. You can link one or both. Note that native multiple-parcels-per-order support is only available for eParcel accounts; MyPost Business has a single-label-per-order limitation imposed by Australia Post itself, though SellerDash offers a workaround via their help docs.
Will it show live shipping rates to my customers at checkout?
No — SellerDash is designed specifically for generating shipping labels after an order has been placed in your Shopify store. It does not provide live Australia Post shipping rates at checkout. It does, however, show you live rate quotes inside the app dashboard for each order so you can see what you'll be charged before printing.
Does it handle order fulfillment and tracking automatically?
Yes. Once you print a label, the app uploads the Australia Post tracking number directly to the Shopify order and can fulfill orders in bulk with one click. Tracking information is passed through to Australia Post, and fulfilling via the app triggers Shopify's standard customer notification email with tracking details.
What do other merchants say about the support team?
Support is consistently highlighted as a standout feature across 364 reviews (4.8-star average). Merchants praise the responsive live chat, fast response times, and personalised assistance including video tutorials. The team is Melbourne-based, and multiple reviewers note issues being resolved almost immediately after contacting support.
Does it support international shipments as well as domestic?
Yes. The app supports both domestic (Standard and Express Post) and international consignments, with live rate quotes visible in the dashboard for both. It also handles customs documents for international shipments and supports shipping rules to automatically select the right service per order.
